Is it hopeless? NO!
Somehow, eventually, peace will come to the Holy Lands. It might as well come now and not wait for tens and hundreds and thousands and 100,000′s of people on both side to be terrorized, injured, maimed, and killed. Would you want to live in either of those countries under the conditions that they have versus what we have here in the United States?
Let’s assume that all is needed is a better policy by the United States.
However, we are not omnipotent. (t is possible that the two sides are mad, crazy, fools, imbeciles, so demented by their past that they cannot give up their normal abnormal behavior. They have gotten into a pattern of attach and revenge and attack.
Is change possible? Of course!
Not only do we need to have a great policy to help bring about a change in the way the “combatants” combat one another, but we need to help change their mindsets.
How can we do that? How can we take two or more adversaries who seem to have developed ruts in their brains that cannot think of anything except murder and revenge? Is it that bad. No!
We need to try having adversaries ride together here, work together here, share here, forgive here. Plan a common vision that is great for both.
There needs to be a way for the people of both sides, especially the more militant beliigerent ones, to try something else. As Doctor Phil says, “How is that working for you?”
As a painfully honest PeaceHorse could say “How is that working for you , Israel? How is that working for you, Palestine? Gaziana? Hamas?
We could encourage the “people” to demand peace. Demonstrate for peace. Instead of celebrating the mangling of thirteen unlucky bus riders, couldn’t all the people demand that their leaders “STOP IT NOW!”
It isn’t one thing that will work. It is many things done simultaneously over a length of time that will eventually bring about a cessation of hostilities and a lasting peace.
Let’s get started now so that fewer people and their lives will be destroyed.
Tune into PeaceHorse to find out what we, you and I and our friends and enemies, are going to do to STOP IT and replace it with peace and justice.
It doesn’t have to be only through horsemanship that we can build bridges between enemies. We can do it in any area which two people share as a common passion and love and interest. But we are going to try it first with horsemanship.
“People get ready, there’s a new train acomin’. Don’t need no ticket. You just get on ‘board.”
Let’s learn to ride together and make peace together.
