There is so much to do in the Flathead Valley when you are not on campus or at one the riding or peace making venues.
ACTIVITIES;
Glacier National Park is a world class destination.Equestrians at PeaceHorse International Riding School can enjoy this wild park during their stay in Montana each summer. The mountains of Glacier have towering pinnacles. Where soil has built up verdant trees spread over the valleys and hillsides. There are alpine lakes tucked in between the mountains where glaciers have left depressions to be replenished by Spring runoff.
Lake tours on Flathead Lake or Whitefish Lake. Dinner and drinks. Swimming
Hot Air Ballooning above the Flathead Valley with Fantasy Balloons.
Fishing and Fly fishing on the lakes, rivers, and streams. We have access to the Flathead River and the three forks of the Flathead.
Montana’s international riding school has plenty of summer activities for its equestrians besides riding. Fly fishing in a drift boat on the Flathead River during a warm summer day is great activity. By the way, Tom built this drift boat from a kit.
Swimming, water skiing, rafting, sailing on Flathead Lake (50 miles by 10 miles), canoeing, kayaking.
Some of our church girls loved spending their summer days at City Beach on Whitefish Lake here in Montana. Thanks Natalie and Teal
